Match Contacts to Voters

📱 Easier on Android: install + share from Contacts app tap for steps

Once installed (one tap), you can share contacts straight from your phone's Contacts app — no exports, no uploads, no tab-switching.

1. Install the app (one time)

In Chrome, tap the menu (three dots) in the top-right
Tap Install app (or "Add to Home Screen")
An icon called CampaignText appears on your home screen
From now on, open the app from that icon (not your browser)

2. Open your phone's Contacts app

Open Contacts from your home screen or app drawer (the OS app — same one that holds your phone numbers, NOT a browser)

3. Press and hold any contact

Long-press on any contact name — the screen switches into "Select" mode
You'll see a checkbox next to the contact and a toolbar at the top

4. Select All

In the toolbar at the top, tap the three dots (⋮) — they're next to the trash can icon
Tap Select All from the menu — every contact gets checked

5. Share to CampaignText

Tap Share in the toolbar
Android shows a list of apps — find CampaignText and tap it
The CampaignText app opens automatically with your contacts loaded — tap Select All in the wizard, then Continue. Done.

💡 Tip: If "CampaignText" doesn't appear in the share list, you haven't installed the app yet — go back to step 1.

Walkthrough — 3 steps:

1. Open Google Contacts

Tap the blue button below. A new tab opens at contacts.google.com. If you're not signed in, sign in with the Google account that has your contacts.

2. Find Export

On a phone: tap the three-lines menu (≡) in the top-left corner → scroll down and tap Export
On a computer: in the left sidebar, click Export (it's near the bottom of the list)

3. Pick vCard, tap Export

Leave Selection set to Contacts (this means all of them)
Under Export as, tap vCard (for iOS Contacts) — it's the third radio button. (Yes it says "iOS" — vCard is the standard format that works for any address book, including ours.)
Tap Export. A file like contacts.vcf downloads. Android shows a "Saved to Downloads" notification at the bottom of the screen.

4. Come back here and upload

Switch back to this tab
Tap Choose File below this card
Navigate to Downloads → tap contacts.vcf
The wizard reads your contacts and shows checkboxes. Tap Select All, then Continue.

Don't see the Export page? Click here →

The button opens contacts.google.com/u/0/export. If Google routes you to the regular Contacts list instead:

Phone: tap the three lines (≡) top-left → scroll to Export
Computer: look for Export in the left sidebar
Or paste contacts.google.com/u/0/export in your address bar

Upload your contacts as a vCard (.vcf) or CSV file.

Even faster (Android): tap the Chrome menu → Install app (or "Add to Home Screen"). Then from your phone's Contacts app, tap Share → CampaignText — your selected contacts land here automatically, no exporting / uploading needed.
